Raynald Casimir: Board Chair & Founder
Raynald Casimir is the Founder of Hope Ministries for Haiti, Inc. He was born and raised in Jeremie, Haiti to Haitian parents and relocated to Miami, FL at the age of 25 to pursue a better life. Respiratory Therapist and a paralegal, Raynald has spent most of his professional career working for Law Offices of Kirshner Groff & Diaz for over 26 years and Law Office of Woodard & North for 15 years where he is still currently employed.
With all that he has studied and experienced, and his love for people and his culture, he wanted to apply his knowledge to give back to the very community he came from. His desire is to help those who cannot help themselves and preach the gospel while doing so. Raynald has proficiency in French, Haitian Creole, and Spanish. He lives in Naples, FL with his wife Iranna and has two children.

Rolin Bastien: Board Member
Helping others has always been Rolin’s passion since he was a child watching his father, Roland, and uncle, Phillip, helping people in their community.
As a teenager in 1995, Rolin joined his first organized group (The Christian Association of Lilavois for the Development) and was active until 2004 when he moved to the United States.
Graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Science of Nursing at Nova Southeastern University, empowered him to focus more on human life and well-being.
Rolin went back to Haiti recently with a group of medical personnel and provided care to 800 people. As servant of the Almighty God, Rolin’s life is dedicated to serve and carry on the work of God.
He is really devoted to support the Haitian people to improve their health that are in a very bad conditions in the whole country. One of his goals is to keep looking for more financial support to give basic medical supplies to them as there is a big shortage of all types of medical resources in the entire country.
Midlaine Richard-Pean Board Member
Midlaine Richard-Pean is a nurse practitioner, educator, administrator, entrepreneur, mother of two girls, wife and a daughter. She was born in Miami, of Haitian decent and speaks both English and Creole. Midlaine received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Miami, holds double Master degrees in Business Administration and Health Service Administration from Nova Southeastern University and a Master’s of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner from Florida International University.
She is also certified Assisted Living Facility director, a certified real estate agent and life insurance agent. Currently, Midlaine works as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with Florida Blue and teaches part-time at Miami-Dade College School of Nursing. Midlaine is an active member of the Haitian American Nurses Association (HANA).
She is also a member of the Divine Praise Worship Ministries where she serves as the assistant financial administrator. Through innovation and hard work, Midlaine motivates herself and those around her to do their best. Midlaine is a creative individual and an excellent role model who is dedicated to hard work. She also finds time to give back to her community both locally and overseas.
She has done multiple medical missionary trips to Haiti with ManDoDo Humanitarian organization providing on-site wellness care and assisting with toy drives for the children.
Midlaine maintains high standards for herself as well as those she works for, always providing the necessary support to help her peers and colleagues succeed. She is still doing her best to help the people of Haiti continuously.
Lemuel Ivan Smith Jr.: Board Member
Lemuel Ivan Smith Jr. was born on 1943 to a 4th generation family of Everglades City FL. He graduated from Everglades High School in 1962 and continued his education at Norman Baptist College and graduated in 1964. He married Linda Gail Drake in 1964 and moved to Fort Myers for employment with Florida Power and Light. They have two grown children and three grandchildren ages 19, 10, and 9. Lemuel started a career with IBM Corp in 1972 as a Customer Engineer and then moved up to an Account Representative. He entered the world of Commercial Real Estate doing leasing, brokerage and investment properties until the Housing Recession of 2016 at which time he began buying, rehabbing and selling large single family homes.
Lemuel has served on Club Everglades Board of Directors since 2005. He is a prior Board Member of World Plaza Office Complex, prior Board Chairman of Naples Christian Academy, prior Deacon Chairman of First Baptist Church of Naples, and prior Chairman of Pastor Search Committee of First Baptist Church of Naples. He is currently active as Deacon, Teacher, Trustee and Registered Agent at First Baptist Church.
Jack B. Woodard is the Managing Partner of The Law offices of Woodard and North. He has been representing The Haitian Community for Personal Injury cases for 28 years and has been a Personal injury Attorney for 32 years.
The firm has offices in Miami, Orlando and Naples, FL. Jack proudly serves as a Board member of Hope Ministries for Haiti and strives to make a difference in the lives of those who are in desperate need of help.

With his dedicated compassion to defend people that have been hurt with certain types of injuries on the workplace, he is also supporting the Haitian people to improve their lives in many areas that need urgent daily assistance. Jack really believes that all people should be living a joyful and healthy life with no absence or shortage of any resource to satisfy their basic need everyday. He believes that helping others to live well is a great task that pleases our Migthy God who is protecting all of us everywhere.
Tatiana Fortune: Board Member
Tatiana Fortune, MSW is the Senior Center Director of the Golden Gate Senior Center. Tatiana joined the Center prior to its opening in 2014, which was established as the 2nd Senior Center in Collier County. In her role, she oversees the Center’s operations and activities, program development, community partnerships, outreach, and personnel supervision. Her social work background and experiences include serving youth involved in the juvenile justice system, homeless families, and has worked with government agencies and nonprofit organizations on community outreach and development initiatives.
She speaks Haitian Creole, has a Bachelor of Social Work from Southeastern University, and obtained a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Social and Economic Development from Washington University in St. Louis. Tatiana is also the owner of a retail business, Multi·Ethnique Collections and Moments of Fortune Events, a southwest Florida event planning firm. She is a 2018 graduate of the Growing Associates in Naples (GAIN) program and is part of the inaugural class of Hope for Haiti’s Leadership 360 program. She is actively involved with the Leadership Collier Foundation, Zonta Club of Naples, Leadership Coalition on Aging and serves as a leader at her church, Agape Christian Fellowship. Tatiana is passionate about making a positive difference to affect social change and improving the quality of lives for people in need.
Iranna Casimir: Board Member
Iranna Casimir was born and raised in Haiti to Haitians parents. She relocated to Miami, Florida in 1980 for a better life and to continue her education.
She earned an Associate degree as a Dietetic Technician and worked for the State of Florida for nine years to educate pregnant women, infants, and children for better health.
In that role, Iranna made a great impact on many lives but still had a dream to do more. In 2005, she went back to school and graduated as a Registered Nurse and is enjoying her journey fulfilling her dream as a nurse at Physician Regional Hospital.
Iranna is a devoted wife and a mother of one son and a daughter. Her passion and desire are to share the Gospel with those who don’t know Christ as their personal Savior and help those in need.
She works alongside her husband, Raynald, in the mission field in Haiti, where they travel to distribute food, clothing, and assistance. Mrs. Casimir is sharing her skills, abilities, and expertise with the people of Haiti to improve their miserable health conditions.
Dr. Vince Cancelosa, Board Member
Dr. Vince Cancelosa, is a chiropractic physician and has been in active practice for over 30 years. He started his career in the state of Michigan, and for the last 18 years has been practicing in the Golden Gate area of Naples, FL.
He got to know a great man named, Raynald Casimir, over the years in Golden Gate where he was introduced by him to the Haitian community. Dr. Vince has since worked very hard to help that community with their health care needs, and contribute and help where he can, to the people.
It has been a privilege for him to know many great people through the years. Dr. Vince hopes that by touching people and their lives, he has earned their trust and confidence.
Because of his unconditional compassion for the people of Haiti, Dr. Vince Cancelosa is supporting Hope Ministries For Haiti to reach its goals in Haiti where Haitian kids are suffering from a dire shortage of food, basic care supplies, educational resources, and safety and security, and the like, etc.
