About Us
Hope Ministries for Haiti, Inc., was established to share the hope of Jesus Christ to many people living in despair and socioeconomic lack in the southwestern part of Haiti. In 2014, Raynald and Iranna Casimir learned about believers conducting worship services under a makeshift palm thatched roof. They gathered in the nearing village of Domnique, located on the outskirts of the city of Jeremie, where there were no other churches or places of worship for them to attend. When it rained, the people were not able to hold services.
After hearing their need of a permanent sanctuary, the Lord placed the burden on the hearts of Raynald and Iranna to spearhead the church building project and establish a ministry organization in this remote area in Haiti. While the church was being built the hurricane caused significant damage and blew away the entire roof of the sanctuary. This was very devastating to Raynald, Iranna, and the worshipers that were eager to begin meeting for services in the building.
Despite this setback, Raynald and Iranna remained hopeful and worked diligently and then secured additional funds to replace the roof. Shortly after in July 2017, they traveled to Jeremie for a missions trip and organized a group of 15 people from the capital, Port-Au- Prince. For over 2 weeks the missions team evangelized the area, they led 23 people to Christ; held 13 baptisms; did outreach; distributed food; served hot meals to more than 300 people; and distributed clothing and sneakers to the needy in the community.
As the situation is still critical for the majority of Haitian people, Hope Ministries For Haiti desperately needs any type of help that you can give to them right now.
By the grace of God, the building project is completed! This church has been established as the only church in the Domnique village and services have been held for all to attend.
